Has anyone had an MRI with contrast (Gadolineum)?
If so, when you peed it out do you see it? Does it have a color to it? Also, did you experience any side effects?

I do not remember anything being weird about peeing afterwards. It can be a weird, warming sensation when the contrast goes in. It's not scary or anything, though.

I have had it many times, and I never felt any different when they injected it in. Also no different peeing...same as always...yellow.

I have an MRI every 3 months with contrast. I have never felt any different and my pee is always normal looking.

Thanks ladies. I had one this morning and I've been watching my pee all day expecting to see it come out and, like you all said - just looks normal. I guess I just assumed dye would be something you would see!
Are there any side effects I should look out for? The nurse/tech said nothing - I should have asked but, I was nervous about the whole process.

DH just had one this morning with contrast. He said no issues in the peeing department.

I havent had contrast but I am actually a tech. Your urine wont change colors and if your were to have a reaction if would happen while you were there. The chances of MRI contrast are alot less than CT contrast. Getting a headache is a common side affect but like I said if you left there feeling fine you shouldnt have any issues the rest of the day.

I had no side effects. Don't remember anything about peeing a specific color. Sorry.

I didnt have any side effects other than a metal taste in my mouth as soon as they injected it.
I also don't remember having any colored pee
