Has anyone had spots lasered off

I am a big baby but I have a few sun spots on my face that I want to have removed.

I went to the derm. today and she said I could have them lasered off.

Does this hurt???

My brother had this done. Before he got hurt he had went I would say about 5 or 6 times. He had a few spots on his arms, a few on his back and one or two on his chest... he didn't have any on his face.

It doesn't hurt at all because they numb it and depending on how serious the spot is they either freeze it off, laser it off or cut it off if they have to go under the skin a little -- but it is minor and everything can be made numb so you don't feel a thing.

My mom had a few spots on the face - they were red for a little bit after she had them done and then the redness went away. It is good for your skin to get rid of them and in some cases they will test what they take off to make sure it isn't something more serious.

I have had spots frozen off - just never lasered. I'm going to do it just because I can't stand to see this spot on my face in pictures w/ my son anymore - I feel like it's all that I focus on!
