Has anyone had their house/grounds sprayed for bugs?

I just got a call from a guy who said he used to do work for the previous owners (we just moved in). He said he sprayed the house for bugs - all kinds including spiders, crickets, ticks, mosquitos, etc. They spray the grounds (lawn, bushes) and foundation. He told me they use organic spray and that its completely safe - you can walk on it 20 minutes later. Has anyone heard of this or done it? It sounds like it might be good to do, but I have a 1 1/2 year old and am very nervous about chemicals around him, so maybe I should just deal with the typical bugs. What do you think?

we have our grounds sprayed. we have it done about 12 times (for different things) and have been doing it for 5 years now. We do not get inch worms or other bugs as other complain about. We do not have any children so using chemicals on our lawn was not a concern to us.

Earthcare? We used them last year and although they were pricey we are using someone else this year and we are not nearly as happy. We didn't have the jumpy spiders in our basement and they were good about returning and respraying if necessary.

I would price around what you need from different companies, LI treecare keeps calling me and telling me that they sprayed for the previous owners when I have the names of all the companies used an they were not on it. I have received a lot of calls like that from all kinds of companies and it is starting to really annoy me.

We got the same call from a similar company when we moved in to our home! We used them once and that was it, but the keep calling and sending info.

Speaking of EarthCare, we had a slight issue with them. They randomly left a letter in our mailbox addressed to just "Mr. & Mrs." claiming that they had done work for the previous owners and that they were going to come and do work unless we called and said we didn't want it. So my husband called and said "do not do any work." So about 2 weeks later we get another letter that they wanted to do work. He called and left a message saying they better not do any work and that we know for a fact that they never did any work for the previous owners because they left us every manual/receipt, etc. from any company they used and Earthcare was not one of them. They might be a good company, but this is definitely a shady way of trying to get business. We think they just saw the "sold" sign on the house and waited for the new people to move in so they could try their scam.

I have had 3 companies for spraying call here and say they did previous work for the past homeowners.

One guy said that ms. miller used to complain about the bugs at her back door. We don't have a back door.

Then it was the side door. we don't have as side door.

Then it was the garage door. We don't have garage.

We have no problems here with any bugs!
