Has anyone here ever made their own headboard?
It's my summer project and I'm curious as to what I'm undertaking.

my friend painted a headboard onto his wall, i kid u not lol.. i assume it was much easier then making one so i am no help whatssoever but i must admit his painted headboard looked really real with a quick glance lol

I am dying to do this. I saw it on HGTV....I bet if we went on the website they would have ideas. I think its a great summer project!

My mom made me one....she used plywood and then put batting and fabric over it and stapled it to the back. it came out really nice!

My friend did the same. Hers came out really nice and she said it was so easy to do.

I am going to do this - but drill holes in the plywood so I can make tufts
