Has anyone taken advantage of the Raymour...
...and Flanigan dont pay until 2013 offer? I just want to know the logistics of this since DH doesnt seem to keen on it. He likes to pay for things with cash and get it over with. But we dont have the cash right now.

im almost positive it's no interest till 2013, not no payments. The Place has no interest for 5 years if you buy over $4000. i just bought from Ashley's with 12 months deferred payment and no interest.

Yeah, it's not no payments, it's no interest. You have to spend $3k. We are taking advantage of it. I do believe they have a 1 year plan of no payments, 0% interest as well.

Re: Has anyone taken advantage of the Raymour...
We took advantage of it but only ever did it for one year. You have more negotiating power the less time you take for the finance. We did it when we bought our bedroom furniture and then again when we purchased our den furniture. We will do it when we buy our dinning room furniture in the near future.
It is only no interest though for 5 years. How I did it was I took teh balance and divided by how many months I was getting 0% interest and that is the amount of the payment I sent them. If you don't pay it off in that period you are responsible for all the interest back to the first day.
Also if it is special order you have to leave a deposit you can't finance that part.

Re: Has anyone taken advantage of the Raymour...
We took advantage of it, last year, when I bought a new couch and a dining room set. I usually dont like doing things like this. But, we made sure it was ALL paid for by the due date and did not have to worry about interest or anything. I would only do it if you know you can have it paid off by the time it is due. Of course, our offer was not for 4 years, we only had "no interest for 6 months".

We did this when we bought our bedroom and living room furniture. It was 3 years no interest. We'll be done paying for it in January. Its basically paying cash, but instead of paying it all at once, you pay over the amount of time there is no interest. Just be sure you pay it off before the time is up or you get hit with ALL the interest that has accrued over that time.

We bought our dining room furniture last year and got no interest til 2010. We pay 100 a month and will have it all paid up by 2010 :)
