I did- but my car was a lemon
the dealership got the manufacture to buy it back
only 1 catch
I had to get another car from them
and I sweetened the deal for them by offering to upgrade

call the place where you got your loan don't let the dealer tell you
if you call them direct they give you a payoff but it depends on the condition of your car how many miles etc. make sure you get it in writing and then figure out if it makes sense to try and just sell it your self. I was going to sell my pathfinder and i ended up deciding to hold on to it a little longer because they wanted to much to get out of it.

2 years early is tough. I know that the car manufacturer my DH works for it would be a no-go. You could try calling their customer relations number but usually they aren't very empathetic and basically say sorry you signed a lease agreement.
