Just curious... my neighbor recently inherited one from a relative and we never got to have a water slide day. In the event that it's not warm enough for cold hose water this weekend, I thought why not use is dry as just a slide???

Anyone try that?Chat Icon I was only thinking it may be a hard landing without a pool of water but we can put a pile of blankets.

On the ones that I've seen, the slide material has too much friction dry, and DC either won't slide at all, or get friction burns. If it's very short it might not be a problem, but I definitely wouldn't do it with the ones that are 5' or taller.

Cool. We'll wait and see what the weather has in store. Maybe we can do pillow case sacks! Chat Icon

That's probably a good idea. Dutch Wonderland and Hershey both have slides that use burlap sacks to sit on.

Use sacks/pillow cases and fill the pool area with balls! That would be a complete blast!
