Has anyone's DC gone on a food strike? DS just suddenly decided he won't eat solids.

We've been giving DS solids since he was about 4m old. He was eating about 2 meals of fruits and veggies for a few months. All of sudden, he refuses to eat. He's chugging formula but will not open his mouth for baby food. It is so stressful. I don't know if I should offer him finger foods if he won't even eat his baby food.

Has this happened to anyone else?

I don't know if it is part of the reason but DS has 2 teeth growing in right now.

I'd say its time to start giving him table food.
My DS wants to self feed everything.

Could be the teeth.
Could be that he wants table food.
There came a point when Lily refused to let us feed her....she would only eat if she could put it into her own mouth. Got a little messy - but she was eating and she was learning so we went with it.

DS Still goes on those food strikes.... He is 27 months!!

DD has been doing this since we started solids!

Don't stress about it, he's getting what he needs from his bottles.
