Has there ever been a teachers GTG on here ?? *1st post UPDATED GTG LIST**
anyone interested ? now that Im a real teacher 
just throwing it out there, I think it would be great to exchange stories, tips etc. all we do on here, with a cup of coffee

We'll all probably be too tired to actually make it to the GTG. Must be done over a vacation--at least in my case!
I am not local so could not do a weekday, but a weekend would work for me.

maybe you can bring papers to grade while you sip coffee and chat ?
we'd have to figure out a location. anyone in NYC ? it might have to be nassau for everyone to meet midway, depending on who's coming.

we have to decide on location, a good midpoint for all interested.
we know we have as far out as Suffolk county, how far into Queens/bklyn are any of you ?

i know weekends are busy, so we can either squeeze in a sat breakfast thing? (any early birds?) or an evening?

OK, so let's set a random date to see if it works
Friday Oct 23rd, 7 - 7:30pm, Nassau.
We can do dinner or apps. Im going to try to find a pre-fixe menu place, what does everyone think about that ? ( or I can call more popular/suggested places) and ask about the options.
