Has this happened to you? Crinone Question
I am 1 week post iui and I have been using Crinone progesterone since the day after. But I think I might have a yeast infection but it is hard to tell because the cream (sorry so gross) kinda looks the way an infection would. I called RE and nurse said I have to speak to my gyno about using an otc cream while on crinone BUT of course my obgyn office was closed today!! I guess I am going to wait it out until Monday...hopefully it is not and YI and I am just irratated. Has this happened to you?

Re: Has this happened to you? Crinone Question
I had something similar happen w/ the Crinone, thought I had a UTI but it was just irritation from the glycerine in them. It can be very irritating and they can cause gross looking discharge too. Does the RE have weekend monitoring hours? Might be wroth it to just show up and get checked out. Feel better.

Re: Has this happened to you? Crinone Question
I had a reaction while on Crinone as well. It wasn't a yeast infection, but I found out I am too sensitive to use it.

Re: Has this happened to you? Crinone Question
Thanks! I am going to try calling her emergency line tomorrow..I am actually leaving town tomorrow so hopefully I can get help over the phone. I used the crinone 2 times in the past and never had side effects, just the gross discharge! That's why I am leaning towards YI. RE nurse said they can change the meds to a different brand, but with my luck I will go through all this and not even be prego! It's so frustrating!

Re: Has this happened to you? Crinone Question
This whole post is gonna be TMI- Sorry.
I honestly don't think it is a YI unless you have the itching. I know exactly what you're talking about- the dry lumpy discharge looks the same but it wasn't a YI for me.
Crinone is very irritating- this is normal. It made me feel like I was scraped raw and sometimes I even had pink streaks of blood in my discharge. It didn't always show up the day I administered the gel either.. like 2 days later it would all come out. YUCK!
I hope this helps, but let your RE check it out anyway.
