Hate the way JHS is growing in!
So in addition to my fried ends (even though they trimmed and I've gotten a haircut since the treatment!!) my roots (not even 10 weeks growth) are growing in all PUFFY. 
As the weather gets cooler, I may just chop a ton off and get back to drying/ironing.

yes that's how mine was...it was horrible growing back!
I will never do it again for that reason...my curl starts at the root and it it was curly and poofy at the root and pin straight the rest of it
Horrible! it took a while to all grow out

How did you think your hair was going to grow in? If you had curly frizzy hair, it was bound to start growing back that way... Based on how quickly your hair grows is how quick the "puffiness" would start.
I have crazy curly frizzy hair. It's basically the curliest and frizziest at the root. My Japanese lasts me a solid 2 months tops without having to blow it at all. That being said... drying it with the regrowth is SOOOO much easier than drying the entire thing before getting Japanese.

ill recommend brazilian keratin treatment again!
it wont make your hair pin straight as JHS does. what it DOES is it makes your hair healthier, and much more manageable. so when it's curly it better and when you blow it out it takes MUCH less time and effort. plus it allows oyu to have body if you want or go pinstraight if you want.

My regular hairdresser suggested this before I had JHS and even after.
I guess I just didn't expect it to start being WORK so soon (especially since my hair doesn't seem much longer but obviously has grown).
My natural hair was not curly, just weird waves spread all about that air drying was impossible.

That is the worst part of JHS...THE REGROWTH! I have had it done about 5-6 times in the past 5 years and i always get frustrated around the regrowth time!
