Have a question re: my new washing machine
I THINK they hooked the water up wrong, but I'm not sure.
When you are doing whites and choose the HOT/COLD cycle doesn't that mean the clothes get washed in HOT and rinsed in COLD? or do I have it backwards.
When I am putting the clothes in the water that is running is cold and when I take them out they are hot. I always thought it was the other way...doesn't it even matter???
I don't know....anyone????

Re: Have a question re: my new washing machine
You're right. To really verify, just put it on either Cold/Cold or Hot/Hot and see how they come out. It does sound like it's hooked up backwards. Pretty easy to fix, luckily. Just undo the hoses from the wall and swap them.

Re: Have a question re: my new washing machine
I think you are 100% correct. The clothes should be WASHED in the hotter temp and RINSED in the colder one.

you are a smart man!!
Going to check right now!
ETA: There is no HOT/HOT cycle...just cold/cold.
They all have a cold cycle - but either hot, warm or cold other cycle.
