Have you been to Bodies? (exhibit)
we went yesterday; amazing. But...one of the baby cadavers (or whatever you would call them) had spinabifida. I couldn't believe out of all the disabilities...they really just had that one on display. Made me wish I hadn't gone in to the room. (my sister has that)

DH and I went. Thought it was great. Very surprised how long it was. We didn't even have the head set, which I imagine would have taken longer.

It was REALLY good. I wasn't sure if I'd be bothered by it, but I was completely drawn to it. It was absolutely worth the time and money. Nothing about it is really gross, and I usually get grossed out easily. REALLY interesting.
They have a whole section dedicated to smoking, obesity, etc...that really opened my eyes. It's amazing what the insides of someone who's smoked for 30 years look like.
I would 110% suggest going to see it, it's awesome. I think the headset was a good investment, too...it gave a LOT of information that wasn't on the plaques.

we took our time going through the exhibits (we also had the audio tour) and I'd say it took us 1 1/2 - 2 hours.

I'm so sorry that was upsetting.
I saw the exhibit (South Street Seaport). We bought tickets off of the website, but I think I saw people buying tickets there (not sure). It was really fascinating. I learned a lot. I think it's very worthwhile.
