have you ever googled your name?
After seeing Barb's post that HR may google your name before an interview I did mine. My married name is pretty common and there were a bunch of hits but nothing seemed related to me.
Then I did my maiden name, which is a pretty unique last name and a whole bunch of sites popped up! Turns out there's some actress with my name! She did a movie in 1997 and another in 2000.
Freaked me out for a second until I realized that there weren't all these sites associated with me.

Yup! I signed a petition with my maiden name, and that is the only thing out there, thank goodness.
I Googled DH- and it was pretty funny. He has he exact same name as a Filipino pop singer, so all the info about that guy came up.

apparently my name is pretty common but none were me
FH didn't come up with anything except an ex-crackhead turned author. LOL

Yes, someone with my name wrote a book about cannibalism, and someone emailed me last year asking about the nutrients in raw human flesh.  Which made a little more sense once I figured out someone with my name wrote a book about that.

Yes, I am on my companies website...quoted some stuff...so i come up. Also my sorority missing persons page...myn ames comes up...LOL.
I googled my ex husband...supposedly he's a PORN STAR!!!! LOVE IT!

Yes I have and I showed up on the NYS Dept of Unclaimed Funds site!!! Because of that I filled out the appropriate paperwork and got a check in the mail!!!

Well, at first I thought of reporting him to the police, because it was very weird and I thought he might be considering killing and eating people. But I just wrote back and said I think you have me confused with someone else.

I have a british actress with my married name- its so weird since she has a million listings.

Unfortunately, Yes, I did and this other woman had such a better career than I do. I am so jealous! LOL Than I did my maiden name and their was this woman who did Porn!!! LOL Juicy Judy (last name) too hilarious!!

I've googled my maiden and married name before. Everything is about me since my first and last name are so different! Everything with my maiden name is links to my old company - where I'm listed, a picture from a college alumni event, a link to a Board of Ed meeting where I was approved for a position.
There's only one under my married name - the link to the dept pages for the high school I work at.
