Have you ever gotten a + on the OPK the day AFTER you ovulate? UPDATED with chart
I usually ovulate days 13, 14 or 15. I took my first OPK this month on CD12 because we were on vacation. I got a + on CD12. I am also temping, and according to fertility friend, I ovulated on CD11! I am so upset because the last time we BD'ed before that was CD9.
I have never ovulated that early! I can't believe we missed our chance this month. And why would I still get the smiley on CD12? Any ideas?

FF just "guesses" at your O date based on Cycle length etc. It is No where near precise.
You should go by the OPK which is actually testing your urine.

FF just "guesses" at your O date based on Cycle length etc. It is No where near precise.

When you are temping, FF is not guessing. It is going based on thermal shifts in your BBT.
Did you have a clear thermal shift at that time? Or could it be possible that FF will change your O date based on your future temps?
Can you post your chart?

Thanks for the responses. It definitely looks like a thermal shift. Maybe if my temp goes up even more tomorrow, it will change the O date to CD12?
ETA: I tried to post my chart and it didn't work. I'll try to figure it out...

Okay, so I'm thinking maybe you caught the end of your surge - and that if you would have tested the night before, you would have gotten a +.
Based on your temps, I think you did ovulate on CD 12.

Argh! That's what I was afraid of. Last month I O'ed on CD15. I've never O'ed that early! I'm so mad!
