Have you heard of parties going on tonight for the Election?
When I was voting a man came out of the poll and yelled "SEE YOU ALL AT THE PARTIES" and everyone started clapping.
Are there really parties going on tonight?

down here in the DC area, there are parties EVERY where. I would say that election night is second only to New Years Eve. We even have parties on the night the State of the Union address is given!

In Chicago there's a rally tonight downtown. To hear Obama's speech you had to have a ticket which was done via a lottery. But there are other places designated for people to hear the speech.
I know that there are a lot of bars hosting election night specials.
