Haven't received any info from school about upcoming school year, am I the only one?
I still do not know about DCs teacher/supplies. Is the very last minute the norm? Am I the only one waiting?

Check your districts website. Mine has a generic list for each grade. I have not heard about DS teacher assignment yet.

Last years list is up I'm sure it will be the same but really want to know who is teacher is. There was a bit of controversy on how kids were assigned this year and I'm so curious.

Teacher assignments for incoming students are not until the week before school starts. For existing students that moved up a grade, they get a letter the last day of school with the teacher assignment.

As a teacher I just got my schedule today. I know in my son's district they don't send it out until the last week in August!

We start September 9th this year which is late. I do not expect anything until after Labor Day.

I am pretty sure we don't get our teachers for 1st until next week or the following week. I think they said the week of the 26th and we start the 3rd.
As far as supplies I got mine from the pta this year which saves me the headache and was about what I would pay to do it myself. Out of curiousity I looked at the school's site and they have last year list up. It is not teacher specific but grade specific.

We have not received anything here either. I don't expect to hear from the school until the end of August as we start 9/9. There is a generic school supply list up for each grade on the district website here too.

My district starts on 9/3. We still haven't got the teachers for next year. The website says they will be mailed out on Monday. My little guy is starting kindergarten. I wanted to prepare him by talking about his teacher. I also need the supply list. Now I will be shopping. Last minute which really stinks.

Northport here. Had to laugh. Got DS' bus assignment today, but, still am not sure of teacher or even school supplies.
(I know I could've ordered through PTA and am now kicking myself. That's another thread though LOL).

We received ours last week and our supply list was very short, so I was happy about that. Although I overbought, so I'll be donating the rest.
It makes me laugh though, because it's the same time every single year that they mail the stuff out. Yet people in our district complain incessantly each year.
