hawaii budget
hi!
whats a good budget for a 7-10 day trip to hawaii?? DH and i are looking into maybe going there this summer so we're just trying to get an idea. thanks!

A lot! I would budget about 250 per day (at least) to pay for all of your meals, excursions and shopping.

ITA agree with the above poster - perhaps more if your hotel doesn't include bfast (we did the island hopper at the hyatts so it was.) but to save a little, go to a timeshare presentation...they you can go on an excursion for free or super cheap.

ITA. The food in hawaii is soooo expensive. Breakfast @ our hotel one day cost us almost $70!!! I would bring at least around $2000 for a 7 day trip. Have fun. You are going to love it!!!! Do you know where you are staying yet??

nope! no idea where we're staying at yet, or if we'll even end up going. i'm just trying to get an idea of overall cost including airfare, hotel, meals, sightseeing stuff, etc.... to see if its even a possibility!

My SIL lives on Big Island of Hawai'i. There are TONS of beautiful B&B's that are 1/4 of the price of the big hotels. just an idea if you want to save $$$$
