Hawaii help needed-Family friendly trip!

We are going to Hawaii in March and staying at the Hilton Hawaiian Village.

Need suggestions of things to do and restaurants to eat at.

Restrictions:
We are bringing our DS who will be 15 months old. And I will be 6 months pregnant.

Yes, I know we are crazy! I wasn't pregnant when we booked the trip, but it will be nice to have a big trip with DS before our other DC is born.

We weren't on Oahu long but, I really enjoyed eating at Dukes - I loved the Hula Pie.

We went snorkeling one day and went to Pearl Harbor. The one thing we wanted to do that we didn't was to go and see the North Shore.

theres a lot of shopping on kalakaua (sorry about spelling) avenue, the main strip that all the hotels are on... you can just walk up and down. there is also international market place as well. you can book a tour to pearl harbor and also when my DH and i went we did a "grand circle island" tour which took you up to the north shore and also stopped at the dole pineapple plantation. not sure if you want to take your 15 m.o. though this tour was kinda long . oh and also if you can take a 10 min cab ride to leonard's bakery, they are famous for their malasadas (donut type of things but so good!) have fun! i wish i could go back!

Thanks guys. We are renting a car so we'll be able to drive up to the North Shore and around the island.

Re: Hawaii help needed-Family friendly trip!

Hilton Hawaiian Village is very family friendly. Ask them for a list of the events. When I was there they had fireworks one night (every Friday I think) and every morning they would feed the penquins (and let u take photos etc.). They have a children's pool as well! They have diffent birds and plants all around the property. The kids really loved walking around.

Eating- They do have a Round Pizza (very family friendly). If you can, take a short walk over to the beach walk. Many eating places there and lots of shopping. Also, there is a great breakfast place right across from the main post office. I can't remember the name. The kids loved it! (However, it was a long wait.)

If you get out and drive around, you must go to Dole!!
