He barely eats (nurses) at night - anyone experience this with a NB??
Colin wakes up every 3/3.5 hrs at night but he really doesn't eat much. It's to the point that I don't have to change him in the middle of the night. I change him before I lay down (about 10:30PM/11PM) and then again in the early morning (6AM). He gets up, but seems to just nurse for soothing b/c I wake up pretty engorged and he doesn't have a poop diaper at all at night - and pees, but not a ton.
Should I be attempting to just give him the binky and see if he'll go longer stretches? He's only 5.5 wks.
Anyone have a NB who barely eats at night??

It's just very different from Ryan who was literally on me for an hour a pop, at least, every 2-3 hours - and I had to change him every nursing session easily.

Yup! Lola's doing this.
Do we have the same NB???
Last night her last feeding was at 9...changed her and out she went at 10 until 5. When she woke at 5 she "snacked" barely nursed at all and went back to sleep until about 7.
I don't change her during the night either.
