Maybe you can change the crib into a toddler bed? Is it a convertable crib?

In that case maybe turn it into a toddler bed and put a gate up at his door so he doesn't wander at night.Chat Icon

I agree. While we had to move Andrew out of his crib before he figured out how to climb, it might be as good as time as ever to get him into a toddler bed... We have a gate up at his door that keeps him in his room and he loves his toddler bed....

Re: he climbed and fell out of his crib...

The same thing happened to my son last month when he was 15 months old. Unfortunately the crib is only convertible into a full bed so we went to babies r us and purchased an inexpensive toddler bed. He has fallen off of it but it is very low. He went into it with no problem at night but during the day he would only nap in his crib, I am still trying to figure out what to do. Remember to make the entire room baby proof.
