headache
I have had a headache on and off for 3 days. Sometimes it's bad, sometimes it's just dull, but still there (even after sleeping a full night!). Anyone ever have a headache last this long? I have been (and still am) going through something VERY stressful in my life right now. Wonder if that's the cause? The timing of this headache is not period related either.
Thanks ladies.

Re: headache
Yes...I suffer from migraines and I get a lot of headaches.. I just had one all of this past week...Stress/tension headache... Once I got through my stressful day, it went away... I get them when it rains or is damp out... I get major sinus headaches.. Try taking Excedrine Tension headache pills... They work for me most of the time.... I was in the ER in Oct 2011 for what I said was the worst headache ever... I was diagnosed right there with migraines. I have five triggers though.. I try to wipe them out before they get too bad... Good luck..

Yes, I have. About 14 years ago , I had a headache literally for 3 months straight! No matter what I took, it would not relieve. It was absolutely awful! I would just be able to get through a day at work and that was it. After about 4 different doctors I was finally diagnosed with contraction headaches...put me on meds and I finally recovered! These weren't migraines, I also suffered from those and still so. This was just a constant dull throbbing pain that never went away. I was going through a lot of stress at that time and the neurologist said that was a big part of it. Go see a neurologist and if you are not happy, just keep seeing others until you get an answer. Good luck! I know how bad it can be!

Also until you see a Dr., try a " cocktail" of pain meds...like 2 advil and 1 tylenol, or mix aspirin with advil or tylenol...before I was finally diagnosed by the neurologist, an internist told me to do this and it did help.

Re: headache
My son (and a bunch of other people I know) had a headache for 2-3 days and then it turned into that fever virus or possibly the flu. Headaches are a common first symptom of so many things... I have had one for a week from AF, plus taking care of DS and from my sinus congestion.

i also get migraines, and am prone to all sorts of headaches. if i have a low grade headache it can last for weeks at a time. usually i can live with them as long as they stay low, but they can flare up and turn into a full blown migraine, so i need to be careful and take meds before it gets too bad. i usually like advill or excedrin headache, but i'm on daily NSAID's which prevents me from taking them right now. so i'm stuck with tylenol. not the best, but it will keep things from getting worse.
