Health Care bill vote in the House today
The House is supposed to vote on the health care bill today. Based on several stories I've read, they are still making major changes to the bill, to try and get enough votes to pass. This is just one huge clusterf*ck..... and the American public are the ones that get all of the collateral damage....

I really believe Trump & Ryan don't care how many people they screw over, as long as they get rid of Obamacare. I'm glad at least to have a Dem congressman who I know hates this bill.

Health Care bill vote in the House today
This is such bs. Now they're voting on a bill in a few hours when we're no longer clear what's in it and how people week be affected. Talking away the essential health benefits is going to be terrible. They're doing exactly what they criticized the last administration for doing.

Health Care bill vote in the House today
Did anyone see the repirts about Kochs brothers and their funding to Republicans who vote against the bill. Interesting to know who vote was swayed due to that.

I did. I just can't see how things are going to go though. The Koch brothers are pushing for more repeal and less replace from what I can tell. As much as I want this to fail, where will things go from there? When some are voting no bc it gives too much and others bc it gives too little who's going to win out in the end?
I called and got through to zeldin's Patchogue office this morning. They didn't say which way he's voting at the moment but they listened to all my concerns. Yesterday he was strongly defending the bill though.

I think they are going to do what they've been doing for the last 7 years.... Keep voting to repeal it, have the vote fail, and then point fingers at everyone else....

This is the absolute truth. 100%!!!!!
I feel like Trump doesn't give a flying $hit about the people or really anything so long as undoing EVERY SINGLE THING having to do with Obama. He's a power hungry lunatic who is just hell bent on pretty much erasing Obama's legacy and presidency EVEN if that means hurting people, hurting the environment, and hurting the country. It's more important to just stick it to Obama then make rational, well thought out, and well planned decisions and policies.

The vote got postponed because "The Great Deal Maker" couldn't get his own party to agree to the bill that Ryan supposedly has been crafting for 7 years....

They are demanding a vote tomorrow. I can't see that Bannon, Ryan and DJT would demand the vote if they didn't think they could win.
I work in healthcare and I'm petrified about what this means for our revenue and the future of the practice I work for... nevermind the 24 million people that may lose coverage.

I really don't think it'll pass. They are still saying that 27 Republicans have flat out said they won't pass it, with those numbers there is no way the bill will pass.
Honestly, they are going about this ALL wrong. It should've NEVER been about Trump's silly tagline of "repeal and replace". I know the Cheeto thinks it's a "yuge" disaster but the reality is, people count on this insurance. Therefore, instead of being hell bent on repealing it and starting from scratch it should've ALWAYS been about working to improve and make the existing coverage better.
Trump is so damn focused on dismantling EVERYTHING relating to Obama that in his haste to do so, he isn't making wise, well thought out decisions. The fact is, the Republicans have NEVER had (nor do they a now) a suitable replacement. They've been BS'ing everyone all along which is proven by the fact that their own party won't even get on board to pass this bill.
Trump and everything that surrounds him is a disaster. I REALLY hope this bill fails because it will give the moron a taste of what it's REALLY like to be president, maybe he'll realize he isn't all powerful and his word isn't gospel.
