Heartburn Meds....
My dr suggested Zantac which is over thec ounter, does anyone know of a prescription one that is safe so my insurance will pay for it....

I used tums....they are pretty inexpensive too! Gotta love tums...I have them in the house, in the car and at my desk at work!

Some form of the active ingredient of Zantac probably comes in prescription strength. 
I think maybe there is still a Rx form of Tagamet. Another
I am taking OTC because I want the lowest possible dose that will work.

i'm not sure if it's the same ingredient as zantac but my dr gave me prescription strength prevacid or prilosec. maybe ask about those?
