I disagree!!! She is out and about without being dolled up and I think she looks great without a glob of makeup on her face. Looks like a normal everyday person. IMO she looks better than alot of folks who can't go without makeup for a second.

I am just curious to know why she is out in the freezing cold, walking in snow with a newborn?

ETA: at my former job there was a Montessori daycare on the premises and they took the babies out for a stroll in any weather, except rain. fresh air is very good for babies.

Re: Heidi Klum braves the cold in Aspen
she doesn't look bad to me, not her best photo, but I'm sure it's a pain in the azz to be followed all the time...especially as "Heidi Klum supermodel" when you're really just cold, your face is red, and your kid is probably crying.

never said anything was wrong with it.... and, yes I am fully aware that fresh air is good for babies, however it looks like it is bitter cold where she is & that baby is only a couple weeks old. i would be afraid of the child getting sick-that's all.

You dont get sick being out in the cold...you get sick from catching a bug...

Beans, you are such a moron. you clearly said that children should never be subjected to cold temperatures, and that you would NEVER take your child out once the temp drops below 60.
you think Heidi Klum is an unfit mother...and FUGLY to boot, don't you?! don't you! ADMIT IT!

she looks great...my only concern is that God forbid she takes a spill, there's nothing protecting that child.

exactly my point - by staying warm, we keep our body temperature at a SAFE level....so if we walked around in the cold w/out coats...we'd get sick...it may not be the flu, or a cold...but yes, we'd get sick.

there are probably 10 people around her- just not in the pic
a mother could fall carrying her baby any day in any weather- what else was she suppose to do?

a carrier, stroller, something a little more "secure" than her arms.

I guess she would need a 4 wheel drive one- the ground is covered in snow
she might only be walking a few feet- it doesn't seem like she is out shopping-
and it looks like she is trying to shield the baby for the cameras- she couldn't do that in a stroller
ever one is such a critic these days

amazing how a simple response has turned into such a stupid debate.
silly me for wondering.

And I see something completely different....all goes to show it's in the eye of the beholder.

I think the point that Lisa was trying to make is that it's a misconception that "the cold" is what gets you sick. Sure you want to stay warm to keepyour immunity up, but the cold air isn't going to get you sick...a "bug" is.
edited to clarify that I meant "get sick" and not "get a cold".
