HELLLPPPPPPP!!!!! Am I getting a cold sore???????
WTFFFFFFFF??????
I have NEVER in my WHOLE LIFE gotten anything like this before.
It feels like a big juicy zit growing under my bottom lip and hurts so freakin' much...
Im 15 weeks, what can I do for it? Anything I can or cannot take?
HOW DID I GET THIS?
I read online (googled  ) and saw that it could just be from hormones? Oh dear god, i hope so...

its most likely a zit then... a cold sore would feel itchy at first and it would look like a little blister when it started to come out.

i didnt know you can get a zit on your lips...lol
ok, well its definitely not itchy and hasn't blistered...but it does look like a little red dot on my lip...
should i call the OB? or will he think im just nuts

its sounds like probably just a zit but if it gets worse (develops into a blister) then it could be a cold sore. Pregnancy lowers your immune system so i can see it occuring more often now than before (even if you never had one before)
maybe you should wait a day before calling the dr for any meds. its probably just your hormones going crazy and making you get a zit in a place you never had one before!

My cold sores never itched - but they'd burn/feel hot when they're first coming out.
If it is a cold sore, you can use Abbreva. It's OTC. Use it sooner than later b/c it works when you put it on as soon as you feel the first sign of a cold sore. (I sound like a commercial.)

I got a cold sore around 14 weeks- I've never ever had one either! It tingled like there was an electric current in there. I did nothing, and it went away on its own. except I did wear makeup

It stinks, bc it does work!
I was told by my RE and my OB that Abbreva was fine. You use SUCH a tiny little amount that it's nothing that would harm the baby.
Also, do not wear makeup over it. It prevents it from "breathing" so it'll just spread/swell up more.

Thanks Ladies...
It feels like a volcano come up from under the middle of my lip...still not gone...to make matters worse, my son headbutt me in the lip so now it is fat (like the rest of me) and hurts...hahahaha
Note to self: when in need of lip injections just have your baby headbut you and save $600 and the pain of injections :)

Not yet Mich, I didnt master that...although the only thing that keeps your ass from smiling with dimples is a pair of spanks...wearing them while pregnant just is not fun...
