Hello Fresh /Blue apron
I was wondering if anyone has tried these food delivery companies? It's just DH & I and I am running out of things to cook for dinner. I keep getting emails with discount codes and just looking for any feed back....

Re: Hello Fresh /Blue apron
I use Home Chef and Hello Fresh. I haven't tried Blue Apron because their menus just haven't appealed to me.
Both HC and HF are great! I do prefer HC because they have a greater variety of meals to choose from and it's about $10 cheaper a week. But both have been excellent in terms of quality. I haven't had a bad meal. Most have been pretty fantastic.
Also if you sign up, don't forget to go through ebates!
ETA: If you go through my links above, I believe the savings is greater than if you used the discount codes they offer.

Hello Fresh /Blue apron
DH is always asking about these and I always say no but I'm starting to wonder if maybe it would be easier since I have no time to grocery shop?
Is it enough food? We're pigs.

Ehhh mostly. It would be more if we didn't split with our 2 year old.

Re: Hello Fresh /Blue apron
We have been doing Blue Apron for about a year. We're really happy with the menus and the quality of the food (but we haven't tried any of the other companies, so can't compare).
If you'd like to try BA, shoot me an FM with your email address and I can send you a weeks worth of meals (3 meals for 2 servings each) and you can try it free!
ETA: the reason we started was because I was doing the lion's share of the cooking and with a baby on the way, I knew I wouldn't be able to keep up when she was born, especially bc I was BFing on demand. SO, we tried this to eliminate the food shopping and meal planning and DH has taken over dinner prep and cooking. It's been life-changing in that way. We still need to food shop for staples, lunch and breakfast items, but at least dinner planning is done. ANd it's just 3 meals a week, so low commitment. We almost always cook home at least 3 nights a week.
