Help - 13 month old tripping when walking in shoes - need suggestions

SO he has the See Kai Run - Smaller shoes and they are not very supportive. I got him measured and bought a paird of the level 3 at Stride Rite and he can walk in then but trips a lot and is by far a better walker when he is barefoot or in grippy socks.

Can anyone recommend shoes that helped? Anyone have similar issued with their DC?

He has been walking for jsut a few weeks now.

We started with Nikes and they were way too heavy.

I recommend robeez or similar type shoes. I remember buying a cheaper kind at BBB because they didn't have DS's size of robeez and they worked great.

Just got DD shoes at Stride Right. She was falling and walking very funny right after. After about 3 days she is much better. I think they need to get used to the shoes. How long has it been

Less than a week and in the house I have been keeping him shoe-less- maybe I should let him use the shoes in the house too?

Yes I did. Especially since he is a "new walker". DD had issues and she has been walking for over 2 months now. Chat Icon
