Need suggestions for feeding a 13 month old
All of a sudden my DD is getting very fussy about eating (breakfast, lunch and dinner). Sometimes, I have to make her 5 different things for dinner, and then she will eat the first thing I made for her UGH!
Please give me some menu suggestions and your schedules for feeding a 13 months old!! TIA

Re: Need suggestions for feeding a 13 month old
Claire is 12 months old and she has her good days and bad days with eating. The hardest is getting her to eat fruits and vegetables. I have to feed her the veggies before any other food is visible or else she wont eat them
I take the easy way out and usually give her the Gerber graduates cut up carrots and green beans and fruit pieces and also the new garden mashers (mashed potatoes with veggies mixed in)
Some of her favorites are:
Breakfast: waffles, mini pancakes, scrambled eggs, toast or oatmeal
Lunch and Dinner: chicken nuggets, grilled cheese, pastina, tortolinni, egg bow noodles, turkey and am cheese rolled up, string cheese, and any kind of bread.
Snacks: goldfish, cheerios, puffs, and the gerber cookies
I also try to always give her a small amount of whatever we are eating to get her used to different foods
I only make her 1-2 things for a meal, if she doesn't like then I wait a while and try again, I dont want her to start to think Im her personal chef! LOL! Good Luck, I am always looking for new things to have more diversity
