HELP! - I cut DD's finger while cutting her nails..
and it's a small cut but I'm applying pressure and it's not stopping, tiny little thing, but it is bleeding.
What should I do?
I feel terrible  She is fine, happy as a clam.

just take paper and keep apply pressure.. sometimes I'll wrap it around and leave it on for a few minutes, checking on it every so often and when I remove, I put some aquafor on it..
I always cut my kids when I did their nails which is why I have my sister or dad do them..

The same exact thing happened to me .
It would NOT stop bleeding from that tiny little hole.
I just kept applying pressure and finally DH put a small band aid on it and it just stopped on its own.
I was SO upset though so I know how you feel!

Awwh.. I have done this too..Keep applying pressue with a piece of tissue. Or wrap it with a bandaid and neosporin.

Yup I did this to DD#1 when she was an infant. It wouldn't stop bleeding. I just kept pressure on it and eventually just put a bandaid on and it stopped. I am so wary of cutting their nails now, that usually my MIL does it for me

i just did that this past Sunday to Brynn! i didnt even know i did it cause she didnt cry. it wasnt until i saw some blood on her thumb that i knew what happened. it was a tiny little hole too and wouldnt stop bleeding. but i just held a paper towel around it until it stopped. i felt sooo bad about it too. but i guess it didnt even hurt her.

just put a bandaid on it, and if she's young enough a mitten to keep her from messing with it, till it seals up a bit
after the first time I cut DS, I only file his nails.
