Help!! Can't keep the 3yr old out of the kitchen

while everyone is sleeping. He sneaks into the fridge and takes food under my bed or in his room and watches spongebob until I wake up! I find cups of icecream, marshmellows, peanut butter, etc. hidden everywhere. I never know what Im going to wake up to. Any suggestions? A gate doesnt keep him out either! He's a tiny bull and breaks everything too.Chat Icon

How about a fridge lock? BRU has them, and they're only $2

Going there today to pick one up. Hope it works. It's not adorable when you come into your living room to find a half a gallon of ice cream melting on your brand new couchChat Icon Not adorbable when you've just had your rugs done and you find the little monster sitting with the ice tea mix container playing like he's in a sandboxChat Icon Chat Icon He really is so bad he's cute. He uses the chair or anything he can stack up to get on the counter tops to get into the cabinets so it's really hard to keep stuff out of his reach. So far he has painted my newly painted bathroom(of course not in the shade it was painted)I have gotten phone calls at work to come home because somehow he got an old paint can that was put away open and dumped it on his own head, he has covered my bathroom in a lovely hand cream mixed with vaseline, I had my older sons room painted with a wall that had yankee strips and a week later he took black marker from god knows where and drew all over the wall and my couch. Yeah Im losing it people, losinggggggggggg itChat Icon His other brother who is five yeah let me tell about this little mastermind(it's like having my very own pinky and the brain) I finally splurged and purchased a new mattress and boxspring for not just myself but for my older son who is 15yr(not cheap Im sure you know)and the five yr old who was supposed to be napping snuck into my room and are you ready...................
found something to stab and slice up my brand new mattress yeah and wouldnt you know he got to his brothers boxspring too. I never had so much trouble with the two older ones who are now 17 and 15. Except when the my daughter(17)was 4yrs old she took a buzzer and shaved the front of her brothers(15)hair off(he was 2) yeah and she shaved the front of her head too.Chat Icon Did I mention Im losingggggggggg itChat Icon

I know growing up I knew two and it was my friend and her mom. As far as the story believe me I have tons like when the 17yr was 10yr I used to go to beauty school and we lived across the street from the elementry school so my daughter would walk across the street with her little brother and let themselves in the house until I got home which was usually about an hour, well this one day I come home and they are gone so of course I panic untillllll I notice there is green shaving cream dripping off my kitchen and livingroom ceilings Chat Icon so I go across the street to the schoolyard and my daughter takes off when she sees me to her friends house and tells the kids mother I was going to beat her so yeah the woman was going to call the police(whole other story)until I explain to the woman about the shaving cream, or when I got called up to the school because my son told them he couldnt do his hw because mommy takes us on long rides on the train until late at night to go to church!!! First off I would never take my kids on the trains late at night and my church was on the corner and we would see his teacher there on sundays.Oh yeah, or when I got the phone call from the teacher in the middle of february asking if I owned a pool because she was concerned when my little angel told her he was going to go home and break through the ice in the pool and go swimming to see what fish in a frozen pond see, yeah okay I dont have a pool or a yard!! Believe me I have tons. My dad always wondered why I didnt drinkChat Icon

It's so not funny bc the mess would have me Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon too but I can't help but laugh bc my DD did this a few months ago too (she's 3 too) Luckily she only did it once (so far). I woke up and found all sorts of stuff that she snacked on - I kept finding more stuff with half bites in them as the day went on. Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon I hope you're able to get some help from the fridge lock.

Signed,
another Mother who is losing it.
