HELP, classroom not ready, in gym 1st week
Hey ladies, I'm lucky enough to have a brand new, pre-fab classroom for my class & the new PK class, however, it is not going to be ready the first week, SO I'll have 16, 4 year olds in the gym and/or library.
No toys, no centers, etc.
What would you do?
Also its kinda hard to go over rules, etc. not even being in our class.
HELP!
I plan on doing The Kissing Hand w/ art activities & drawing & group things like circle time w/ passing the ball to get to know e/o's names,etc. & we'll go outside when we can. But what else would you do? THANK YOU.

Oh, that stinks! Do you have any chart stands that you could wheel into the gym and use for circle time? Where will the children sit? Could you bring some table top activities?
