Help! DS is teething. Can you recommend some of your remedies?

DS has always been a great sleeper at night but recently has woken up crying. I'm almost certain it is from teething. He has been chewing on anything and everything. I'm sure his first tooth will cut anyday now.

I gave him some tylenol last night. I was going to pick up some baby orajel today during lunch.

What did you for your DC when s/he was teething? Can you share some remedies to alleviate the tooth pain?

I was told not to use the orajel. I used the Hyland's teething tabs and they seem to work ok.

Tylenol worked well for us.
Some doctors tell you to stay away from Orajel because it can be too numbing, and cause numbness in their throats.

DH doesn't want me to use orajel either.

I feel bad calling the pediatrician again. I call their practice soooooooooo much.

I used to think DS slept too much, ate too little, breathed too fast, etc. I'm glad I was attentive because DS ended up requiring two surgeries. Now I'm just so used to getting so worried about the smallest things.

DD has been doing the same thing for several months now and no teeth have broken through. Teething can take a while sometimes, so don't be alarmed if you don't see any teeth for a while!

We used Tylenol at night to take the edge off, and gave her the RAZ berry teething pacifier to chew on during the day...they now have in BRU...
