Help! Ear infection antibiotic questions
So we had thought Riley's first ear infection was going away, but it's back again. We started up a new antibiotic on Saturday (only got one of her doses because it was in the afternoon).
Tuesday, she has a fever. 101.2. I'm trying to get in touch with the doctor's office but the answering service isn't answering. Do you think they're going to want to see her? I think it's 48 hours of antibiotic treatment right?

I would think they may want to see her, or they may want you to wait a day or two more. I just got back from a follow up at drs office for DD's first ear infection that didn't go away. They put her on a second (stronger) antibiodic.. The dr told me that she should be better in about 2 days.
