HELP!! "Favor" ideas for 4 year old Bday Party
I'm struggling here. . .
BTW, party is THIS Saturday, so options are limited.
DD's 4th bday party is Sat & I've been longing to do a candy buffet for one of my kid's parties.
SIL lent me her jars, so all I need to get is the candy. I found a place to order.
BUT . . .
I also want to do a decorate your own cupcake.
Can I do both??
What if I did only jelly beans or only M&Ms in the candy buffet with the cupcakes?
OR only do decorate cupcakes, with fun toppings (mini m&ms, mini gummy bears, colored sugar, sprinkles)
Thoughts? Ideas? As of now, there will be about 8, 3-4 yr olds and about 5 ages 6-12.
Also considering making chocolate covered pretzels - possibly as favors.

HELP!!
Can you do something like decorate your own pumpkin? I stay away from foods, so many kids have allergies. My 4yo can't eat most candy so I try to avoid events that are focused on food and treats only.
We recently gave out small tins of the crazy Arron's thinking putty and the kids loved that. For the older boys I gave out Pokémon cards.

HELP!!
If you REALLY want to do "decorate your own cupcakes" I would do the candy buffet and use the candy from that to decorate the cupcakes. This way they can bring home the candy AND decorate their own cupcake.
Otherwise, I would do the candy buffet this year and the decorate your own cupcake next year.

decorate your own cupcake for a group of 4 year olds sounds like a disaster to me! I would stick to the candy buffet and save the decorate your own cupcake for another year when they are a little older!

I would do both. They will eat the cupcake at the party and take home the candy. If they can't have candy due to allergies, they will throw it out or not take it. I personally wouldn't do pumpkin favors, it's not even October yet.
