Help! Fun restaurant in the city somewhere between Penn and Union Square?
I'm doing some research for a friend of mine. She's taking her daughter and some friends out for her birthday instead of having a sweet 16 for her. I think there's going to be about 10 of them all together.
I'm recommending they go see Fuerza Bruta and then have dessert and Max Brenner's, but I don't know about dinner!

It's more uptown, but what about Carmine's? It's family style so that would be perfect for the big group.

I was also thinking Jeckyll and Hydes or the Calliente Cab Company.
I also love Two Boots Pizza (east village)
