Restaurant recommendation in Union Square
We have an appt tonight in Union Square and then going to grab some different. We have been to quite a few restaurants in the area (City Crab, Haiku, Times Square Brewery, Blue Water Grill, Sushi Samba) but am looking for something new. I am in the mood for Italian, any suggestions?

Giorgios of Grammercy is great italian right near Un Sq. There is also a good little italian on like Park and 19th-- I forget the name, but you can just walk right in. It's on the West side of Park-- across from L'Express.

I loved that little italian on Park between 19 and 20. The spot was so quaint and reasonably priced. Food was great. I think it was called Via Emilia, but has moved down the block or something, and has changed. I haven't kept up.

well, if you want a beer and some good bar food, I suggest the Old Town Tavern. Duke's also has the best mac 'n cheese around...for Italian, hmm...not sure. But you are right near Candela, too.
