If you're supplementing with formula more than likely that is why your supply is decreasing. BFing is all supply and demand. Also your baby may have changed her latch and isn't as efficient at nursing since she gets a bottle. If you really want to BF I would stop supplement and nurse frequently.

are you nursing also? i never get much of anything when i pump, but that doesn't mean that the baby's not getting anything when you're nursing. are you drinking lots of water? i find that when i don't drink enough i don't seem to have as much milk.

I am having a hard time too.
I don't get that much pumping.
my baby doesn't really latch that great- but the pediatrician said that it should get better when she is over 6 pounds (she was 3 weeks early)- he said after 6 pounds babies have a little more strength
hang in there, drink water, relax - you're doing the best you can do!

You could try fenugreek or mother's milk tea. Or contact an LC. Try this website for great advice on supply issues.

I had this problem early on too. My supply wasn't increasing that much, but I stuck with it and can now pump ~30 ounces a day and DS is almost 6 months old. How many times a day are you pumping and for how long?

Michele31 on this site helped me establish a schedule and has been extremely helpful. FM me with any questions. Make sure you're drinking enough water. I ate a lot of oatmeal too.

Re: help! im really loosing my supply.

are you pumping as long as you had been? I know if I wasn't watching TV or doing something the time would go by really slow and I was apt to stop earlier, so as soon as I sat down, I looked at the clock and determined the earliest I could get up. Sometimes when you think it's all done, you can get a second wave.
