Help me decide where to go on last minute trip
DH has off next week and we want to take Tyler and doing something special with him. My parents are staying home with the baby.
We were thinking either a day trip to Sesame since it's fairly close OR an overnight trip to Lancaster and go to Dutch Wonderland and Day out with Thomas.
We haven't been to either. Last year we cancelled out trip to Dutch Wonderland because of all the rain in June.

Re: Help me decide where to go on last minute trip
We just booked Sesame for July for two nights. We're staying at Homewood Suites by Hilton in Newtown, PA, 10 mins from Sesame. We also went two years ago. It was a lot of fun.
Two years ago we stayed right across the street from Dutch at the Country Inn and Suites. It was a great hotel. I definitely recommend it. Dutch is supposed to be great! It poured while we were there, so we didn't get to do as much as we would have liked.

Lancaster/Dutch Wonderland. I much prefer that area and DW compared to SP.

I have only been to SP and DD loved it! Perfect Day trip.
I keep seeing all the commercials for Hershey Park and it looks fine. Can that be added to your list of options?

I LOVED Hershey growing up we went almost every summer but I was thinking it still may be too old for Tyler.
If anyone's been to Hershey recently, is there enough there for a 3 yr. old to do?

We took DS to Hershey with his cousins last summer (he was about 19 months) and he enjoyed every second. There are alot of kiddie rides and their water park area is great! DS couls have spent ALL day there!
ETA: My niece was with us last year and she had just turned 3 and she loved it too!

Sesame is a fun overnight trip. When we took DOm we did seame one day and mini-golf the next day before we came home.
We are going to Lancaster this weekend!!

We are going to Hershey in August...DS is 2 and DD will be 15 months. I heard there are tons of kiddie rides there and the water section...along with Chocolate World and Dutch Wonderland.
