help me help me help me!!!!!!!! brainstorm
I am having my sisters bridal shower here Jun 29th...
we Have the caterer....the cake that is as much as the damn caterer...
some cool ideas up my sleeve...
i own a 20 x 30 tent...not circus top-flat top----colors fuschia and citrus green,
tell me how you would decorate a outdoor event like this.
Does anyone know who I can hire to do it that is awesome and not insanely expensive. I love doing it and i do things like that but I have soooooooooo much to do...
presents were requested to be wrapped in pink or green--I know I an anal,
I am setting up a mini tent===lining it with glass blown torches in those colors-doing a rose petal path---underneath--lights and all the liquor--better to keep trck of kids anyhow...
it usually takes me like 2-3 dys to decorate I am a perfectionist...so any ideas?

we did a luau theme for my bridal shower. That might work with your colors.

Honestly that's the first thing that popped into my mind when I read this post.
Why don't you go to oriental trading online and see what you can get for a luau shower.
They have tons of things...plus you could serve margaritas and other tropical drinks.
That sounds like fun!!!

It was awesome!

I was thinking tea lights and those paper lantern things..I think your backyard is perfect for that...but then Im thinking that it's during the day..
What about origami flowers and cranes??In the colors??? Something like 1000 origami cranes make a wish come true...I could get the kids started on making them... ...

Use pink and green tulle.
Gather in middle center of tent. Make a big poof.
Drap each arm of tulle to each corner and mid section of the tent...knot with another poof, and let the rest trail...
Pink tulle;
Citrus green tulle (this is Kelly green, but you get the idea):
How about these for CP's...stacked, decorated hat boxes in your color scheme. You can have flowers coming out of the tops:
You can also decorate the chair with the tulle as well. Wrap the backs and make a big "poof".
Flank each leg of the tent with a large topiary. You can buy them already made at Michael's, or make them yourself. Add small pink flowers and more tulle around the pots.
I wish I could show you the picture of this all put together in my head, cause it looks soooo pretty!
