Help Needed setting up Pack and Play

Hope someone can help. I borrowed a P&P from my friend and set it up. All the sides and bottom are locked but the mattress doesn't sit flat in the bottom. Is there something that goes in between the mattress and the P&P(its Graco) TIA

Did you puish down the middle?

It's like a tension rod, for lack of a better term, and it needs to be forced down all the way.

Re: Help Needed setting up Pack and Play

Try locking 2 of the sides then pushing the middle down flat then locking the other 2 sides.

Absolute PITA those PNPs. No advice except to keep snapping up the sides & putting down the middle.

Re: Help Needed setting up Pack and Play

Sometimes I have to unlock all the sides (or one side) cause it isn't entirely locked and then retry it again.
The bottom part can't be locked in until the sides are correctly locked into place

Re: Help Needed setting up Pack and Play

The mattress on ours kind of fits in under the corner sections. Do you have them under, not over? Maybe you can post a pic so we can help better Chat Icon

I actaully borrowed my ILs PnP so I don't have to break ours down to go away this weekend Chat Icon

I was going to say the same thing. If the bottom is locked, then that's the only thing I can think of. Make sure the corners are under the little corner sections.

Re: Help Needed setting up Pack and Play

make sure you locked all four sides..those bars need to be locked into place...I folded it up from a locking position all i did was take the mattress out and pull the cord up and then unlok those bars..so the only thing i can think of is the bars arn't locked..did you see the instructions in the Pack n play?
