HELP! No blood surge but positive ovulation kit?

HELP! No blood surge but positive ovulation kit?
I had bloodwork at 9 and it was negative for ovulation (lh9) now at 12 I have a smiley face. Is this a true surge. I scheduled my iui for tomorrow but now wondering if I should wait. Waiting to hear back from the nurse.

does the doc usually rely on the opk for your surge? do you have pcos or anything else that may give a false smiley?
u might just have caught the very beginning of the surge andif that is good enough for the doc,the positicve opk i would continue with the iui

I am going to go through with it and ended up triggering today as well. I'm so frustrated bc I feel like somethign regarding timing is always off when it comes to these iuis and is always too late to fix. I took tomorrow off for the iui and that can't be changed therefore I can't even do it on Tuesday if I wanted to!
