help re-do my 1 yr olds meal schedule plz!
it's so hard to get out of the house right now bc of ei ,school, naps and long meals.
it would make life easier if i could do dinner at the same time for both boys so we could go out more but i'm not sure if it sounds right and just need another opinion.
ds2's current (crazy)schedule:
8-wake
830/9am- breakfast
10:30- sippy of milk
1045- nap (45 minutes)
12:30- lunch
2-small sippy of mlik
nap- 215-430/5
5-dinner
630-small sippy of milk
830-sippy of milk
845 bed
thinking of switching to
8-wake
830/9am- breakfast
10:30- sippy of milk
1045- nap (45 minutes)
12:30- lunch
2-small sippy of mlik
nap- 215-430/5
5-small sippy & snack (don't want him to be full for dinner though)
630-dinner
830-sippy of milk
845 bed
i welcome any other suggestions. this schedule does not work and i need a change!

How about this (I just moved up the lunch time)?
8-wake
830/9am- breakfast
10:30- sippy of milk
1045- nap (45 minutes)
11:30/11:45- lunch
2-small sippy of mlik
nap- 215-430/5
5-dinner
630-small sippy of milk
830-sippy of milk
845 bed
I'm not sure what else you could change. How long are the meals taking to eat? Can you feed him on the go?

thanks for you suggestion! i can't really do an early lunch bc they have school and therapy. meals are a battle and take forever, sometimes almost an hour (ds has sensory feeding issues.) i'm trying to be able to make it to the park after nap time, before dinner but this doesn't work with our current schedule.
meals on the go never worked with either of my kids bc of the feeing issues. thankfully ds1 is better but still takes forever to eat.

Ok, not sure if you can get him to nap earlier with your EI schedule, but if you can, why not move up the nap to 1:30 that way he'll get up earlier than 5?

that could work...i'm so used to 2 pm naps i never even thought of it. thanks!

I agree with pushing up the nap a little - then your snack could be a little earlier (would he snack at the park) and then you can all eat at 630 - if that is your plan
