HELP! She's leaking overnight AGAIN....
shes just over 20 lbs and in a size 5!!!
I've tried both my usual CVS brand and Huggies Supreme.....she leaked out one side (inner thigh near the top so the front of her onesie gets wet).
There is NO way I'm bumping up to a size 6 already.
What am I doing wrong?
What can I do to fix it???

Re: HELP! She's leaking overnight AGAIN....
Do you think maybe the size is too big?
Katie was just over 20 lbs at her 1 year and is now 14 months and is still in a size 3.

Actually, this sounds like it could be the problem from what you explained.

Re: HELP! She's leaking overnight AGAIN....
When is her last bottle?
I'm not a big fan of doubling diapers because it still leaves them with a wet diaper through the night - just not one that leaks.

Re: HELP! She's leaking overnight AGAIN....
Tori is 24lbs and in a size 4. I stopped using Huggies Supreme overnight because she leaked out of them too. I have been using BJ's and they are working great.

she takes her last 7 oz bottle of milk right before bedtime. Dinner is 5-5:30, bath, then downstairs for some playtime so 6:30-7 she takes the bottle and then asleep.

Re: HELP! She's leaking overnight AGAIN....
It's worth a shot. The size seems too large. I would get a pack to test it out. You can always save them for #2

Re: HELP! She's leaking overnight AGAIN....
huggies now make over night diapers...I have nt tried them but my sister swares by them. 20 lbs. and in a size 5? MY DD is 20 lbs and in a size 3 maybe her diapers are too big.
ETA: I use pampers cruisers and the size 3 goes up to 28lbs. DD never leaks.

Re: HELP! She's leaking overnight AGAIN....
I'd try the smaller diaper. Sarah is about 25 lbs and in a Pampers size 4 during the day and a size 5 at night.

Re: HELP! She's leaking overnight AGAIN....
Try Huggies Overnights, they worked well with us when Andrew was soaking through at night.
Also, I agree the diaper might be too big. I have found that Pampers Cruisers are more absorbent than any Huggies brand.

Re: HELP! She's leaking overnight AGAIN....
DS is alittle over 21 lbs and in a size 3 still. At night I use the diaper doublers b/c sometimes alittle bit comes out of the top at his waist but not if I use a doubler. I tried the Huggies Overnights and they didn't work for us, Huggies just don't fit DS right, never did. We use Pampers Baby Dry. I would try changing the size and maybe the brand.

My son is about 22-23 lbs and still in a size 4. I agree with the girls above, sounds like size 5s are too big. We use Pampers Cruisers.

I would definetly go down a size. Hayley is in size 5 and she is 29 pounds.
