Help! Smells...TMI
Our dog had pooped on our carpet in the middle of the night. Very loose, diarrhea (sorry, TMI).
It was 3am. DH impulsively cleaned it and used bleach and then Nature's Miracle carpet shampoo. Aside from the fact that the carpet wasn't white and should NEVER have been bleached  Strike 1) )
The room smells SO SO SO BAD. Like wet smelly damp dog.
The dog doesn't go down and lay on the carpet (gait was left open by mistake by DH that night....strike 2!) so I have no idea what is going on.
Does anyone have experience or suggestions???
We have a dehumidifier running in hopes to dry out the carpet after cleaning it so many times.

I would try Arm and Hammer carpet powder for pets.
