HELP-Temporary apartments for people who lost their homes?
Anyone know of any places who offer temporary apartments/condos -maybe 6 months or so that are available to people waiting for their homes to be rebuilt?

THere is an extended stay hotel in Bethpage. I think they have kitchens in the rooms. Not quite an apartment but, it might work.

Re: Temporary apartments for people who lost their homes?
Thank you for the responses! My inlaws lost their home to Sandy (on the water in Massapequa) and are currently looking into options. I think the temporary trailer with a pod on their lawn would be great for them but it seems there are non available from the companies they spoke to.

If anyone has any other info or ideas I'd really appreciate it. Thy are staying with us for now but they need something for at least a few months and we don't have the space for that. I feel so helpless.
