Help! Vacuum cleaner broke and ILs are coming this week
Need a new one. We have two cats with white hair that shows on everything so I need a really good one. I don't want another one that picks us most but not all pet hair. Which do you have and do you recommend it. Also about how much was it? I'm especially interested in hearing your feedback if you have shedding pets. Thanks!

we have white shedding cats too... i have the electrolux, and so far it has been great... i dont know how much it was because it was a gift... alot of people also rave about the dysons...

just got a bissel that's supposed to be for pets. i can't remember what model but it has a picture of a really cute dog on the box. seems really good so far. good on rugs and hardwood.

I have two very sheddy kitties and I recently bought a Miele TT Dog and Cat Vacuum, its great. It comes with lots of attachments and 2 seperate beater brushes!!!

I like the Dyson. I just moved into my new house and had to clean my old apt, and the house and it sucked up everything and made everything a lot less dusty/dirty

the dyson is amazing. We have a golden retriever, so we vacuum at least one a day if not more. I get happy when I use the dyson!!!

go on the consumer reports website. They have vacuums broken down by best rated and price. I have a dyson, and its like 8 on the list, there are cheaper ones that are like number 2 and 3.

Another vote for the Dyson. I have the Animal one, and it is really the best vacumm I've ever used. I have two cats, and you would not believe the amount of hair, dust, and cat litter it picks up that cannot be seen with the human eye
It was alot, but I think its worth it. (around 500)

I love the Dyson, too, especially because we have 2 cats and DH has allergies. If you buy it (and it DOES run around $500), I highly recommend going to BB&B & using the 20% off coupon. That's what we did. I think LNT has one too.
