Re: Help with 2nd bday party ideas...

I didn't read the previous posts since I only have a few minutes online so I am sorry if I am repeating anyone.

For T's birthday I ordered Pizza, Ziti, chicken fingers (do you guys keep kosher?) and salad, this way there was something for everyone.

I also got a cake, and a fruit tray for dessert.

For the kids I bought tons of arts and crafts stuff and I put out a bunch of blankets and sheets (like a picnic) and laid all the art stuff on the blankets for them to play with. I put a ton of toys outside as well and I think it kept them pretty busy.

Have fun, I am sure it will be perfect no matter what you do.

You could do face painting also. I went to a first birthday party and kids were so excited about this. They ranged from 1 to about 7/8. The kids looked so cute when they were done also.

Like Barbara recommened, definitly check out Martha Stewart online and see what she has. I know in one of her past magazines she took a latex glove filled it with water then froze it. She then cut the latex off and put it in a punch bowl that had red liquid in it.

We just recently had a PIZZA PARTY! I literally threw it together in just a few days so I was kind of stuck. We've been so busy with the house that we never really made any plans. We just had chips on the tables and for dinner we had strawberry salad and pizza...for dessert cake and ice cream. For fun (and for favors) we did a pinata (firetruck for the theme). I put in it all kid stuff like goldfish, yogobites, gummy things, lollipops, pretzels, nilla wafers and a few other kids friendly things. Each child got a goodie bag and filled it with the pinata contents Chat Icon
