Help with a White Frosting Recipe For This Bunny Cake? (see pic)
DH is working a 24 hour shift on Easter, and he volunteered me to bake a cake for his unit since they won't be home with their families. I was thinking of making this cake below along with some cupcakes, but I need a recipe for a good white frosting. All my frosting tends to be yellowish because of the butter I use.
Anyone have a white frosting recipe they like? TIA!

Here is one that looks pretty easy
WHITE BAKERY FROSTING
3/4 c. Crisco 1/3 c. dry milk powder 1 tsp. vanilla 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 c. water 5 c. powdered sugar
Beat 2 minutes on low speed, 1 minute on high speed.

Thanks! I was hoping I wouldn't have to use shortening, but it seems that's my only option to make white frosting!

It definitely is, but I assume over white frosting.

Yup! It's shredded coconut over white frosting. It's a Betty Crocker recipe, but I'm planning on making it from scratch instead of using the box mixes and canned frosting.

Yeah, I just figured the coconut might hide the slightly yellow tint to the frosting, you know?
