Help with my hair, random question...
Not sure if anyone else has this problem, but everytime I blow out my hair, I get tons of fly aways. I have pin straight hair, so curly hair is not my problem.
I have tried sprays, creams, what ever I can, but nothing helps. The hair on top of my head, near my roots, is usually just sticking straight up.
I get my hair highlighted, so I don't know if that is the problem.
Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!!

Re: Help with my hair, random question...
I have straight, fine hair with lots of fly aways. I find that if I mix some gel with a little water it helps to tame them--I also use a LITTLE biosilk--less than a dime. I was visiting a friend in Manhattan recently and there was an Asian girl on the elevator with me. I couldn't help but stare at her hair. She had it pulled back into a bun. Not one hair was out of place!!! I'm thinking to myself, "OK--I know that I have an issue with fly away hair because it is so thin and fragile--but don't we lose hair when we brush it and doesn't it have to grow back at some point?? (causing it to stick up??) I guess we are never happy with what we have.

Yes...I have that problem too. It's like a bunch of baby hairs that are growing in on the top of my head. I use a light hair spray (like Dove) or that sticky stuff (palmade? Is that a word?) that comes in a jar...just a little bit will control those guys. Do you wear your hair back in an elastic? Sometimes when you're constantly wearing your hair up or back tightly, you get some breakage.

Thanks for the suggestions! Asian hair is beautiful!! Even when I put my hair back, I can't get rid of the fly away hair. I always get so jealous of girls with perfect hair.

That's why I have all those little guys sticking up. I'm constantly pulling my hair up. Blow drying your hair or ironing it doesn't help either.
Maybe you could do a treatment on your hair.
